The American Embassy gave me the task of restoring this jubileum Blüthner grand piano with golden leaf frame. It got a total acoustic restoration including a new Bolduc pinblock, a sound board restoration (this was previously repaired and cracked), and new steel and bass strings. In addition, the mechanics were restored to perfect condition including among other things, new hammerheads. The Julius Blüthner build in 1910 retained its beautiful romantic tone and shines as of old.
